The Methods and Warnings documents provide general notes for each table available in the Key Figures Search Engine. It is divided in two parts:
The Table Notes describe the general content of the tables as well as the population of concern in each. Information is also included about methodology, issues, and warnings relevant to the table as a whole.
The Column Notes are specific to the variables used to determine the content of the column. These notes are referenced in the Excel workbook as footnotes to the column headings and are referred to in the output of the Key Figures Search Engine. The Column Notes provide the variable labels for each of the columns (to be used in conjunction with the LIS Gender Key Figures Search Engine) as well as warnings and exceptions specific to the LIS variable used in the calculations.
These documents should be used to get a general understanding of the content and description of the tables as well as to identify country- or variable-specific issues.
